Well, hopefully the extra layering on the palm will help them hold up.

I wear Mechanix gloves everyday at work (I'm a truck mechanic, go figure!) while they hold up awesome for work I have destroyed 2 pairs playing paintball. Both times I started out with a brand new pair at the begining of the day and by the end I had torn right through the palms.

After that I gave up and bought "paintball" gloves. I've had the same pair of Proto gloves for over a year now. Before you bring them on I'd suggest giving them a real good beating/testing.

The pair you have pictured look more like the "Impact" or "ImpactII" style gloves. The pairs I was using were the "normal" plain Mechanix gloves.

My $.02

Nope we can get them in a alot of colors. I think these will be the only ones that we will carry since the other colors are yellow, red, blue, white ect... These are version 2, built for combat ect.. Alot of troops use them all over. I think thats a good idea, maybe I will see about testing a few pairs out.

Thanks for the info guys....keep it coming!!!

If you can get them in OD and they don't turn my hands green, I'd buy em. A good bleed test would be in order first though...

I use these for paintball and I LOVE them. They allow for great manual dexterity, breath well, and the knuckle and back of the hand protection is excellent. They offer rather good grip by the way the palm and fingertips are designed. I would recommend them to anyone.
Just my 2 cents, Tangent

So I have been putting these gloves through some "tests" and like many of you said, these gloves freaking rock! They are very tough and can hold up under combat situations.
With some gloves it tends to be very hard to feel small details on your gun, radio ect... but with these you can really feel the small details. The top of the glove has some awesome protection. Tested them out in a "hand to hand" situation and they really did help, its also great protection for them rounds that tear up your hands.

Anyway, Ill be talking with the sales guy and see what we can get going.
