One June 22nd @ On Target there will be a bunch of teams heading down to play. It may even turn into a mini scenario

Wanted to know if anyone is interested? Specifically anyone from Imminent Threat or Urban Ops

Let me know because I need a head count.

I'm going to be in (ugh) Alabama for a family reunion.... So if you're in a quiet part of the field, and you suddenly swear you hear banjo music playing softly in the distance, that'll be me being there in spirit lol....

Yeah I messed up... Alabama is next weekend... but I have an oven cleaning at work on the 22nd, so I may or may not be able to make it. I won't know until the last second so no promises.

FIELD WEBSITE
http://ontargetpaintball.com/

GAME ORGANIZERS
Between the two of us, we should be able to address any questions or concerns before the game.

* Roger (Delta Raiders)
* Gene (OTP Saints)

OVERVIEW
Prepare your team for a fast paced, highly competitive, fun and safe day with like-minded paintballers. Oh yeah... I think the word "intense" also works here. We're looking at approximately 60 experienced players from almost 10 teams for this one. heh.... I smile every time I read that. :D

We will break into 2 sides of similar size. Teams will be kept together for the most part. For those of you that know me, you already know that I do not like being held up because a few people are late. That said, we will keep the teams together so long as everyone is on time and the team headcount estimates (below) are somewhat based on reality. Please please please stress to your team that showing up late will make it difficult for us to maintain any level of organization and that the games will begin at 10:00 AM EST.

FIELDS
We have permission to utilize multiple fields concurrently. The actual number of fields we will use depends on:

* our overall turnout
* the type and length of the game we are playing
* the number of walk-ons OTP staff have to deal with that day
* the particular field(s) we are using.

GAME FORMATS
We will mix it up between:

* regular center flag
* 2 flag capture the flag
* multiple flag (capture and defend)

* We can add to and/or modify this list in the morning before we get started. Even better => email me your suggestions now.

AGENDA
0x00: Wake up and remove marker from under pillow.
0y00: Practice snap-shooting on way to bathroom.
0900: Arrive at the field (OTP).
0930: Be ready by this time (registered, paint, air, etc.)
0945: We will make our way out to the field.
1000: START TIME! (Teams/players that are late may be split up.)
1600: END TIME

TEAMS (team leader / headcount):

* OTP Saints (Gene / 18)
* Gods of War (Gene / 5)
* Delta Raiders (Roger / 8)
* Something Wicked (Phil / 5)
* Montclair State Redhawks (Anthony / 8)
* Imminent Threat (Anthony / 6)
* Ironbound (Kevin & DaveB / 2)
* SOD (Dave B. / 5)
* Team Prozac (Dave A. / 3)
* Team Pain (Demitry / 3)
* Philly Paintball (Ray / 10)

PRICING
The field owner (John) was nice enough to extend a discounted field fee to us. He will not be at the field on Sunday, but please remember to thank him next time you see him. Nobody asked for lower rates! He was nice enough to extend this to us because he knows we love the sport and that we will continue to spread the word about his 1st class operation!

Field fee = $28.00 if you bring your own paint.
Field fee = $15.00 if you buy field paint at $44.50/case.

RAIN DATE
None. This is it. If the weather doesn't look good, it's totally up to you. Please don't call me in the morning looking for a real-time weather update! :P

IMPORTANT
Below are a couple rules everyone should pass along to their team. I've been spending quite a few hours making phone calls and sending emails trying to pull this together so I feel I've earned the right to implement/enforce a couple things that I feel are important to this sport and ensuring we all have a good time. These will be repeated and stressed on Sunday before we get started.

* When a player is hit and walking off the field, their marker must be raised over their head with barrel cover on. Players, once eliminated must put their barrel cover on, get their marker up high, shut their mouth and get out of the way. (ie., even if your barrel cover is on but your gun is to your side, you are begging to get shot)
* Don't complain if you get shot walking off the field. If you accidentally walk in the line of fire, expect to get hit. It's ok. We all do it sometimes. Do your best to be mindful of your surroundings when leaving the playing field.
* If you are shot and are caught talking to a live player, the live player that was just spoken to is now dead. Dead people don't talk!
* We all know the rest of the rules....

its me lol, its not meant as the team leader but as rogers(the guy who set this up) contact to your team. I told him you guys were coming so he was using me as a reference for the head count. I was keeping him updated on the head count for the red hawks and the counts I got from you guys.

If you want his e-mail address its delrusso@gmail.com ...This way you can keep him posted to your teams head count directly. Just e-mail him saying you are from Imminent Threat and keep him updated as to how many ppl you guys will get.

...lol murphy "funny looking kid with a beard" THANKS

Wow, I'm glad you said "with a beard" because without that I STILL wouldn't have known which Redhawk you were referring to ;)

Anyway, now knowing that this is going to be more of a mini-scenario type deal I'll try extra hard to make it out, at least for a little while... I absolutely LOVED playing with a smaller number of people at OTP during the Tribal Conquest scenario (the small turnout was a bummer for the field owner I'm sure but IMO, it made the gameplay a lot better than most of the Firestorm games I've been to.. Anyway, do me a favor and cross your fingers for me.

BTW, Gene from OTP, you're the dude with the beard who goes by Frodo over on PBN, right?
