Figured I'd start a post and try to get some activity going :D

What are your plans for 09?

What gear & markers are you looking at getting?

What projects are you looking to complete?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My plans for 09... I wanna really try to stick to the every two week playing schedule. I hate going log times in between playing. Looking to hit up some of the games we wanted to go to last year and missed (West Point, I wanna go to TunaBall3 @ Top Gun, EMR, and Strategy Plus too).

I want to try to play pump or limited paint during "practices" and rec days. Something to change it up and hopefully build my skills.

I'm also interested in playing on some speedball fields. I want to be well rounded and I don't feel I'll get there until I can hold my own on a SB field too.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As for looking... I'm such a gun whore it isn't even funny. On one hand I want to try and not shoot so much all the time so I'm still building up my Mags. But, I figure I'm gonna use those on Rec days and times when I don't want to shoot so much.

Now for the times when I want to spray and pray I've still got my Ego 08. But; sometimes I hate having the loud, distinctive sound of the Ego. The MacDev Droids and the DLX Luxes are really calling me (gotta go see the tax man!).
----------------------------------------------------
For projects to finish, they're not all getting done this year. :!:

1.) I've got an E1 half blocked/mini'd/midgetized cocker I need to finish. Needs internals and some new pneumatics

2.) A halfblocked "SniperII" (read pump cocker). It's all together and working but I want to put a CCM pump kit and 86* trigger frame on it. Not liking the WWA pump kit that's on it.

3.)Putting together a pump Automag (that's like an oxymoron! :p). After next week or so that should be pretty much good to go except for anno.

4.)I put together a warp fed ,x-valve Mag recently too. Just need to tune the level10 and it should be good to go! May still get some different warp feed mounts though. Need to send the trigger frame out for anno.

5.)I've got a Z-Grip frame for a Mag I picked up too, along with another dust black body. I need to send the frame out to Luke's customs for some milling and then I can put it together and give that a shot!

6.) I've got 2 KP wood stocks sitting here that will eventually go to Palmers to have some sort of brass put into them. The one stock is shortened so I think that's gonna get a Spring Fed Nasty Hurricane built and then I'm going to pirate cut the stock. Not sure about the other one.

I'm sure there's more but I can't remember right now!

Not sure what 09 holds for me. I just got this team started, got a sponsor and now i am moving to Ca. I am going to remain affiliated with Chaotic Behavior, hopefully forming a squad in central Ca.. I want to play as mush as possible to get my skills up. Hopefully at least twice a month.
-------------------------------------
Just got a T9 so won't be getting any new marker soon. I was thinking about getting a pump and doing it up like a saw off shot gun. I think it would be cool as a back up.

I am also trying to think of something to do with my spyder MR3. I love this gun. Its the AK47 of paintball makers. This never fails to deliver. I am thinking about a sniper set up. not sure yet.

Well I know alot of my plans will be working on growing the company. Plan on hitting up/sponsoring big games to get the name out even more! I def plan on hitting up a drak ops game soon. Really want to get out there with you IT guys.

As of gear I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon. I have my A5 and mini which both work good, I do plan on getting a new barrel and maybe getting a few add ons for a sniper setup. I did upgrade my vest to the Full Clip Combo rig, that things great! Other then that I really don't see myself buying to much new gear.

I also think I wanna try to get some speedball play in. Always have liked it a bit, but only played a few times.

2009 is going to be a good year..

Plans: Expand our new found name. Hitting up any and all tournys out here that we can. With a few of our fellow people transfering I know they will be doing the same. As far as gear well I am pretty set with my full load, Broadsword vest, Omnipat jersey pants hopper cover. My A-5 is pretty much fully modded out internallly and externally, unless i pick up another barrel (I love my flatline w battle shroud). Ill post the details later.

Hopes and dreams: Well If I miraculaously came into some flow I would go for a SAW packadge, but thats doubtfull unless someone out there REALLy loves me and hooks me up.. I may attempt tryin to run dual tanks, i dunno yet, out here it isnt really needed. And well life wise, I am hopeing to pick up a new rank (E-7) and be said and done, work on my degree so I can GTFO, and go work in NCIS as a Weapons Instructor (fingers crossed) but thats a bit farther into the future. And of course the the father to my son that he deserves and be the husband my wife demands (hehe).

Well, as far as projects go, I would like to, by the end of the year, finish a milsimmed ion with either a pulse-powered box feed OR a ripclip (depending on what type of real steel I try to replicate)... Still going back and forth about whether to do a SAW, M4, PKM, or L85... Other than that I'd like to liquidate as much of my rarely/never-used gear as possible for the extra $$$ and to get it the hell out of my basement.

As far as sponsorships go, I really wouldn't change a thing at this point, I think this is as sponsored as I'd ever like to be. We've got two great companies backing us in return for repping them, but we don't have to be slaves to either. We've been building a great rep among some leading scenario players and teams lately while still being laid-back and having fun. Which I think is what our goal was all along after the break from our previous team which had the opposite philosophy.

Games--- this year I'll be content with hitting up Cousins' Long Island Big Game, the West Point Game, one or two at Strat Plus, and maybe one or two at EMR. Its still part of my lifelong paintball goals to go to OK D-Day and Blanding with the full team in tow, but I don't see that happening for a few years until everyone's situations stabilize a bit better.

The company is number 1 on my plate for PB this year. Another thing ive gotta do is get out there and PLAY SOME PAINTBALL!!! Its been months since ive ran with any of you guys, or played and i dont mean 2 or 3 months either, im talkin longer. My trigger finger is getting inchy and i think my A-5 might leave me and start lookin or a new owner if i dont give it a workout soon.

Gear wise. Im pretty content right now. Ive got some new FC gear, which by the way is awesome, but other than that i dont see much more tac gear coming my way for a while. My A-5 though is lookin rough. I think it'll be getting a new paintjob in the near future, and probably some small upgrades, barrel, grip etc.

On a lighter note my stang should be done and ready for cruisin by summer...woohoo

Shoot if that A-5 gets any less use send it our way!! I am an AVID A-5 runner and dont ever think I will use any other gun, I may borrow a different but since mine is pretty much Mod out I feel funny with any other. unless its another A-5 that can run with mine./

Lol. Even if my A-5 broke and could never be used again i wouldnt get rid of it. Ive ran with this gun since i started playing, and ive really never played with anything else. I can swear by this thing, its one tough a** gun.

My plans for 2009:

I have a Lapco Grey Ghost on order.

I want my Tippmann pistol. Im going to run it with a remote line so I won't have any of the problems Block brought up.

I want a Tac One.

I want to play in the SPPL and see how the Hawks stand up head-to-head against other scenario teams.
