Hey Guys

I'm a Mod over on Milsim Empire, we recently had a member join asking about problems that he is having with his MILSIG Elite. He claims to have purchased the marker from your store as new product, but alleges that the marker he received is a used marker which is missing parts and is leaking badly. We are a MILSIG sponsored forum so we have done all we can to help him remedy his problems, but yet to no avail. He now states that he is unhappy with his purchase and wants a new marker. He also claims to have contacted you but with no response. Now I have always had positive dealings with UOArmory in the past, and something just isn't right here. I was wondering if you could give us a little insight into what may have happened here?

Here is the thread.
http://www.milsimempire.com/viewtopic.p ... 315#p45315

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sincerely
Vapor

Hey Vapor, I know you're just trying to lend a hand but the guy couldn't have possibly emailed Jon until 4-5pm yesterday... Its a weekend. I haven't seen Jon's user ID come up on the board all weekend so its possible he hasn't been around yet. I'm sure he will do whatever he can to resolve this guys problem as soon as he gets in to deal with it, but its not even the next business day yet lol... Can everyone just chillax a minute?

Hey no pressure, lol. Just thought he may be lurking around and hadn't checked his mail yet. As I said I've always had positive dealings in the past, that's why it seems so weird. I'm chill, the reason I posted here is that he is claiming he received a used marker missing parts, and from what I understand about the sales process, that is not possible, just trying to give you guys a heads up & chance to address the matter before anyone starts posting on other forums accusing you of shady business practices, which I'm sure is not the case.

Hey Guys

Thanks for the info. I have been incontact with one of the Guys from Milsig and were getting to the bottom of this asap. The marker was brand new in the box. We would never sell a product marked as new when it was really used. Personally I would have kept the marker myself if it was used. I just checked the emails and there is about 3-4 (sent really close together) we also have a voice mail and a few calls from our customer.

Ill stop by the fourm and drop a post there. Like most of the guys on the forum said I really try not to work to long at the store on Sat's and Sundays I do little to no work. This Sat I did no work at all, was attending a wedding and no one else was working.

O ya, as for the price of $510. When we first recieved our info for milsig we were not issued any MAP pricing. Only reason he got it for $510, a day after he bought the marker, we were contacted by Milsig about the MAP and changed it ASAP.

This is going to be fun, but we will fix this and I will personally talk with him Monday. Actually im about to grab some food and after that Ill give him a ring.

Thanks for the info guys and ill be sure to keep you all up to date.

OK why two posts here? No one was accusing you of anything. I think alot of people have read the posts, they are confusing to say the least... I certainly wouldn't come in here bashing on John and saying you don't think he'll work with you. That's BS.

You were looking for help from the dealer on a Sunday. Palmers Pursuit Shop has probably the best CS anywhere and I would never think about calling/emailing them on a Sunday and expect a response. UOA is just a dealer, they do have other things to do then sit around the phones and computer 24/7. You should've given them a break and waited for Monday.

I'd like to see pictures of all this "rust" aswell.

I take those words, that you typed yourself as saying you don't think he's going to help you much.

Besides what?

pbblackout wrote:

I did, several times. The first showing the obvious leaks and the marker firing and re-cocking. The second one I saw how it wouldn't re-cock. My opinion, should've stuck with the DM8 you had :D

pbblackout wrote:

Ok, but with the accusations of rust and prior use a pic would've been nice along with the video. I don't understand the bolt looking rusty but I can see the bolt heads showing some signs. Hell, black oxide bolts don't take too long to show signs of moisture. Even if it's from the air.

You were looking for a response from them on a Sunday... I don't expect to get help from anyone over the phone or email on a Sunday. I'm trying to say you should've just waited until Monday to contact them instead of getting all fired up because you didn't get ahold of them on a Sunday.

pbblackout wrote:

Where did I do that? I do read my replies, to make sure they're clear enough for others to understand.

I never said you didn't.

Huh???

pbblackout wrote:

Like I said above; You saying
pbblackout wrote:

comes off to me as a bash on John. If I took it wrong, accept my appologies.

pbblackout wrote:

I'm sorry but I fail to see where anyone in here was talking about you. No one blew anything out of proportion. We are simply standing behind someone we believe in. Sponsored team or not I'd stand behind John. If we didn't believe in him we wouldn't have taken a sponsorship from UOA.

pbblackout wrote:

Actually no, you didn't come here asking for help. You went to another forum where someone else was kind enough to post up and let everyone in the UOA know there was a problem. I didn't accuse you of anything, and I don't see anyone else here accusing you. As far as rudeness, I havn't seen anything posted as anyone really being rude to you. I said I thought something was BS. That's about the worst posted. IMO That was in no way rude.

I tried to word everything so it couldn't be taken negatively. Sorry if it didn't come out that way...
