I received the email at 10:20 PM, by 10:39PM, my order was placed. I am hoping for a low serial number. :D Already shopping for a good barrel for it, leaning towards an 8" Lapco BigShot probably, or a stiffi.

Speaking of barrels, does anyone know the stock barrel length? I'm building a "cosmetic" silencer for mine and its based on a Stiffi outer diameter but I don't have any in cocker threads yet. Trying to get an idea of the length

its look like the opsgear version of the A7. opsgear version consist of the Tiberous 8 pistol with the A7 shroud to fit right over it. i say a field test between the two and see which is better.

the TM-7 will probably definitely win out with ROF and probably even accuracy compared to the T8 in compact pistol mod.

The barrel length on the TM-7 I think is a 8" barrel from the looks of it, once I get mine I can give a better idea, but I think I will try and pick up an Apex Ready 8" Bigshot for starters myself.

You're comparing two completely different things. The MP7 mod from opsgear is just a shroud for the Tac8. If you add the cost of the shroud to the cost of a T8 it probably comes out about the same as the TM7 but all you've got is an 8 shot semi auto pistol with a stock. With the TM7 you're getting a full marker with several different firing modes, and the capability of using either a standard electronic loader OR the BT Ripclip (which uses A5 hoppers). The Tac8 MP7 can't use hoppers, only mags. The TM7 is getting you a lot more for your money, in all honesty.

I personally like the look of the TM7 wayyy better! I would perfer to have a non-moded out gun over a gun that comes out of the box looking crazy! I will say when I first saw the tac 8 shroud I was pretty impressed, almost made me think about buying one lol But all in all I would rock a TM7 over the Tac 8 Mp7 mod. Like Rouge said way more options to choose from.

Well thankfully, after I built my "cosmetic" silencer around a stiffi OD and porting pattern, turns out a 12" is the perfect length for what I'm trying to do... Now I just have to wait until I move in to the new house so I can stop being poor again and order one with cocker threads.... Security deposit + first month's rent = a bitch!
